How do statuses work?

Edited

In this article, we'll learn how the collaboration statuses work.

On Social Cat, clear status indicators make managing collaborations with creators easy.

Here's a straightforward guide to help you understand each status.

Pre Match

Under Campaigns

In the Campaign section, you can see "Applicants, " meaning these are creators interested in working with your brand.

For each creator, you have the following options:

  • Save for Later

    • What It Means: You're not ready to work with these creators right now, but they might be good for future campaigns, so you want to save them.

    • Action: You can revisit and invite them later when you're ready.

  • Not the Right Fit

    • What It Means: These creators don't match your current campaign needs, and you don't want to work with them.

    • Action: Decline their request. They won't be considered for this campaign but won't receive a rejection email or any communication mentioning that they got rejected.

  • Interested

    • What It Means: You think these creators are a good match for your campaign and want to work with them.

    • Action: Accept their request and move them to the "Match" status, which means it's an ongoing collaboration and will be deducted from your monthly quota. They will move automatically to the "Matched" status, so there is no need for additional actions from your end.

Accepting a creator application will be considered a match and deducted from your monthly quota.

Under Prospects

In the Prospects section, you can use advanced filters to search our database of influencers and invite creators to collaborate with you.

From the actions button, you have these options:

  • Not the Right Fit

    • What It Means: These creators aren't suitable for your current campaign.

    • Action: Don't send them an invitation and click the X button

    • However, you don't need to reject these necessarily; if you don't want to work with them, simply ignore their profile and move on with searching.

Remember: with the Prospecting tool, you can search our database of creators and only invite the ones you want to work with. You can ignore the profiles you don't want to work with.

  • Send Invitation

    • What It Means: Good fit for your campaign, you want to work with them.

    • Action: Send them an invitation. Their status will then change to "Pending" Once they accept, their status will update to "Match"

Post-Match

Under Campaigns

  • Matched

    • What It Means: You discuss details like deliverables, payment, and contracts. They are discussed via Inbox.

    • Action: Once the collaboration details are established with the creator, draft a contract and send it to them. Do not change the collaboration's status to Pending Shipping without drafting a contract first.

  • Pending Shipping

    • What It Means: Everything is settled and you're preparing for shipping.

    • Action: Update the status to “Pending Shipping” once everything is arranged.

  • Product Shipped

    • What It Means: The product has been shipped to the creator.

    • Action: Add tracking details and the expected delivery date.

  • Content Published

    • What It Means: The creator has uploaded the content.

    • Action: The status will automatically update to "Content Published" when the content is uploaded through the inbox.
