What is a match?

A match happens in the following scenarios:

  1. When a creator expresses interest in working with a brand on Social Cat, and the brand accepts the creator's collaboration request.
  2. When a brand sends a proposal to a creator, and the creator accepts it.

In both scenarios, this is counted as a match, and if you're a brand on our platform, this will get deducted from your monthly quota.

When it's not a match:

  1. It's not considered a match when a creator expresses interest in working with a brand, but the brand does not accept the collaboration request.
  2. It's not considered a match when a brand sends a proposal to a creator, but the creator does not accept it.

The rule is the interest in working together must be mutual for the match to happen, either if we talk about creators expressing interest in working with specific brands or brands sending proposals to creators.

As a brand, when replacing a match, the current match will be added back to your monthly quota and is again deducted when accepting another creator's collaboration request from the Opportunities tab, or when a creator accepts your Proposal.
