How does the prospecting feature work?

The prospecting feature helps you find and collaborate with creators who may not have discovered your brand on the platform yet.

How it works:

Log in to your Social Cat account.
Go to your "Prospects" tab and apply all the relevant filters to narrow down your search.
Make sure to check each creator's profile and send an invitation to those you'd like to collaborate with.
The invitation can be for any collaboration: paid, affiliate, or gifted.
For the creators you're keen to work with, we recommend sending an invitation for a paid collaboration to grab their attention.
After you send the invitation, you'll need to wait and see if the creator accepts it.
If they do, it's a match and will be listed under the "Matches" tab and you'll also be able to communicate with them via Inbox.

What are the advantages of the Prospecting tool?

Discover creators that have not found your brand yet: creators on our platform get many campaign opportunities, and sometimes, it's easy for your brand to get lost in these. With prospecting, you can increase your chances of working with them.
Better collaborations: even more chances to find better collaborations for your brand.
Stay ahead of the competition: the more prospects you can reach out to, the more chances you have to start a collaboration with them ahead of your competition.

Which should I focus on more, applicants or prospects?

We advise working with both to increase your chances of working with the ideal creators; there's no right or wrong here, and the best results are obtained by working with both in parallel.
