How campaigns work and how to set them up?

In this article, we'll learn how campaigns work and how to set them up.

Brands can create different campaigns, such as gifted, paid, and affiliate, tailored to different products and preferences. Depending on your plan, you can run multiple active campaigns simultaneously.

Once you finish setting up campaigns and publish them, they will become discoverable to our creators. They review campaigns and apply to those interested in appearing as "Applicants" for them.

From there, selecting the applicants you want to work with based on their profiles and moving further with the collaborations is a simple process.

Here's a quick walkthrough of how to set up campaigns on Social Cat:

  1. Name your campaign.

  2. Provide a brief description.

  3. Choose whether it should be public or private. Public campaigns are visible to all creators, while private campaigns are useful for inviting specific creators to collaborate using the Prospects tool.

  4. Select Instagram or TikTok as the platforms for promoting your product and specify the type of content you are looking for.

  5. Choose the compensation method from gifted, paid, or affiliate.

  6. Set the goal for the campaign, such as brand awareness, user-generated content (UGC), or sales.

For gifted campaigns, the goal will be automatically set to brand awareness. This is not because those collaborations won't lead to conversions or valuable UGC, but simply to manage brands' expectations regarding what they can hope to achieve through a gifted collaboration.

In the final sections, you can provide instructions and add a detailed, attractive offer description. You can also specify your preferences regarding location, demographics, niches, etc. Don't forget to save all the information at the end, and your campaign will be ready to go live.

Once a campaign is live, we generate brand exposure and showcase it to our community of creators. Creators who express interest in your campaign will apply, and you can view and manage these applications under the "Applicants" tab. Here, you have the option to accept, save for later, or decline applications based on your preferences.

When you accept a creator's application, that's when a match happens.
