Can I use AI to create content for brands?

In this article, we'll learn about guidelines for using AI on Social Cat.

Creators must produce authentic, original content for all collaborations on Social Cat.
While certain AI-assisted features are allowed, fully AI-generated content - where the creator did not personally record or create the core media - is strictly prohibited.

Allowed AI Use (Acceptable Enhancements Only)

Creators may use AI as a tool, not as a substitute for creating content. Examples of acceptable use include:
• AI caption suggestions or rewritten text
• AI photo retouching (e.g. colour correction, skin smoothing etc)
• AI audio enhancements (noise reduction, auto-leveling)
• AI-based editing tools (e.g. cut detection, transitions, filters)
• AI subtitles or auto-captioning
• AI facial tracking or stabilisation in video edits

These are considered editing features, not content creation.

Not Allowed (Prohibited AI Content Creation)

Creators may not use AI to generate or replace the primary content. Examples of what is not allowed:
• AI-generated videos of the creator “speaking,” “performing,” or modelling the product
• AI-generated photos of the creator or product
• AI voice clones narrating the content instead of the creator
• AI avatars, AI models, or virtual influencers standing in for the creator
• AI product shots when the creator owns the physical product
• Any AI-generated media used in place of recording real content

If the content is something the creator could reasonably record themselves, it must be recorded by the creator.

Minimum Requirement

Creators are required to physically record the core content for each collaboration. This includes:
• Real photos
• Real videos
• Authentic product usage or demonstration
• Content that clearly shows the creator engaging with the product

Failure to follow this rule may result in:
• Content rejection
• Non-payment
• Removal from active campaigns
• Account suspension/ bans
