Can I review the content before posting?

Edited

In this article, we'll look at reviewing content.

When brands collaborate with creators, a common question arises: can they review the content before it goes live? The answer hinges largely on the type of collaboration being undertaken.

For gifted collaborations, where creators receive products or services in exchange for promotion, it's customary to allow creators to post the content without prior approval.

However, for paid collaborations, brands typically have the opportunity to review the content before it goes live. This allows brands to ensure the content aligns with their messaging and brand image. Creators usually send their content to the brand for approval before posting, giving brands control over how the message is presented to their audience.

For paid collaborations, please ensure you communicate and agree with the creator for a review before the post goes live. You can include this in the contract you draft with them.
